Marc-Antoine Barrois Ganymede Extrait de Parfum is an addictive spicy leather extrait for men and women who love the original Ganymede and want a deeper, more concentrated wear. Composed by Quentin Bisch at 40% concentration, it opens with an overdose of immortelle -- spicy, caramelized, almost edible -- before building into a richer expression of the mineral leather signature that defines the Maison.
Myrrh and incense add a liquorice-tinged smokiness to the heart before Akigalawood and mandarin return in the dry-down, recognizable from the EDP but treated here with more weight. The result feels both classical and modern, with sillage that lingers well into the next day on clothing.
Apply sparingly -- one spray to a pulse point is often enough at this concentration. Target the base of the neck or inside of the wrist, holding the bottle roughly six inches from the skin. Avoid rubbing wrists together. Apply lightly to a scarf or collar for a longer, softer trail through the day.
